Underworld ; Blood Wars and what to expect?

I recently managed to watch the entire Underworld series under grave pressure. The first trailer of Underworld Blood Wars made me feel as though I had judged the entire franchise far too soon, without watching it for more than 5 mins tops at a time.

I decided to give it a try and was fully prepared with an open mind for anything, the movie came out in early 2000 and I didn't expect anything amazing from it, I always have had a terrible experience with the series. There have been plenty opportunities for me to watch them but I would never last beyond 3-5 minutes. I figured it probably was because the movie was made more than a decade ago and I didn't have the stomach to process it . By now I am used to a different kind of cinematography in film-making. I made up my mind to give it a shot, since I definitely wanted to watch blood wars and i wasn't not going without a backstory.

As the first movie begins Kate Beckinsale starts with her voice over in a hushed tone and it took me directly to Resident Evil and Milla Jovovich's voice over in all the Resident Evil movies. I mean, really look at them!

I tried not to compare the movies or the characters, because there isn't a direct link as such other than their nature, look, outfits, choice of friends and fighting style, but the Stories are different I'll give them that. But by the end to me Underworld was a total Resident Evil Fantasy Ripoff

After watching all 4 movies my excitement died down to minimal. I still do wish to watch the movie, but with expectations worse than After earth.

Lets see what we can expect from this movie. Two trailers have come out so far and both have similar audio. They have tired not to give away much.

1. The trailer shows that the Lycans have become stronger now as they have a new leader.

2. Selene hasn't seen her daughter in years and we don't know where she is, or who she is.

3. Lycans are after her blood and Eve's blood to become invincible.

4. She , Selene wants to end the war.

5. She becomes stronger and is going to fight.

People think that Selene is going to fight with vampire and werewolves head on trying to end the war, but what I think is , that selene does care about the war anymore and wants to be left alone.

Since everyone is trying to kill her she has no choice but try to save herself. Lara Pulver is the vampire antagonist in this movie who proposes that they take her blood and leave her to die because they cant trust her. Theo James , Peter who believes in her and wants to stays by her side decides to helps her escape as she is their only hope when the Lycans attack their coven. He travels with her to a remote mountain side castle where she transforms into the new breed and saves the day.

There are few news things that came to light some time ago, stating Theo James could get a spin off from this franchise and there are possible talks about a TV show to be developed about and around the series.

What I am really interested in watching is How the transformation works , how are they going to show it and what cool can she finally do?? one things for sure that she is really fast which they have shown in the trailer. I am also looking forward to Lara Pulver character , maybe finally we will be able to see them as the bad guys. The last movie shows that humans knew about their existence and how we will be able to see if there is a peace treaty or are they in the dark again?

There are so many questions that need to be answered which is the only reason why I would watch this movie. I still have a little hope that, this is the movie where the franchise truly grows into its potential. There are a lot of new characters and different hings going on here that could turn out into something amazing or nothing at all.
