Namaste England is a failed attempt to cash in on the Namaste London's little fame which has developed a following over the years.

Review:

First of all, let me make this very clear to all the boys and men out there, if you follow a girl around with your group of friends for more than a year, never say a word just keep staring at here where ever you are- it is creepy af, stalker material and unhealthy. GIRLS DO NOT FALL FOR A GUY LIKE THAT.

And guys, don't encourage your friends who are like Param in Namaste England. He asks his friend to marry her friend so that he can spend time with her at their wedding. The worst part his friend agrees.

Unlike Namaste London which had great music, good acting, cinematography and a decent script and screenplay that worked well on box office and still does on TV, Namaste England is a cheaper, bad, worse than a short film music video that runs for 3 hours which also is an add for 'do not travel to London through illegal means'.

I am not exaggerating at all, for some parts in the first half it was doable, because we could make fun of things that were happening. But it gets even worse when you cant even do that, given how much more it does not make sense.

For starters, the film starts with a approximately 20 minute long song filled with the same shots of bike rides, dancing in fields (also fields= Punjab), and Arjun Kapoor creeping in on Parineeti Chopra. Most of which are used through out the film for other songs too.

The cinematography and direction by Vipul Amrutlal Shah of the film is based on only one principal, if the leads are in frame you don't need anything else. Just make them shine with the Bokeh effect, which wasn't even executed that well.

Arjun Kapoor as Param does very little to impress the audience or leave an impact. The character is supposed to be extremely understanding and in love with Jaspreet played by Chopra, who has one aspiration is life. She wants to work and be respected.

Now the catch is, in the middle of the film her aspiration turns for being a working independent women to going to London. The makers want to show she is obsessed with the city which doesn't make sense according how the character has been developed in the first half of the film.

Chopra as Jaspreet looks extremely forced and the two actors together are no where close to the chemistry we saw in their debut film 'Ishaqzaade'. Which makes Arjun Kapoor's romantic dialogues come off very creepy.

The film's villains need a special mention, one Jaspreet's grandfather and her brother are evil in only needed scenes because the script demands it and no other reason. She has no one else in her family but the fact that she has no other family never comes up.

Overall, there are more issues with the film then I have patience to talk about it.

Verdict: Namaste England is a failed attempt to cash in on the Namaste London's little fame which has developed a following over the years.
